Privacy Policy

I take the privacy of my clients and website visitors seriously. This policy explains what information I collect, how it’s used, and how it’s protected, in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws governing personal and health information.

Information I Collect

Through this website, I may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and any details you share through a contact or consultation request form. During therapy, I collect information relevant to providing care, which you share with me directly in sessions.

How I Use Your Information

I use the information I collect to respond to inquiries, schedule and provide therapy services, and maintain clinical records as required by professional and regulatory standards. I do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes, and I only disclose information as required or permitted by law.

Confidentiality and Its Limits

What you share with me in therapy is confidential, with a few important exceptions required by law and professional ethics: if there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others, if I become aware of abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable person, or if I am required to release information by a court order. Where possible, I will discuss these limits with you before any disclosure is made.

Data Storage and Security

Client records are stored securely, and video sessions are conducted through a secure, encrypted platform. I take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to your personal information and clinical records, and to ask that inaccurate information be corrected. To make a request or ask a question about your information, please contact me by email.
